Programme overview

Students who complete the PGCertStrokeCare will have:

  • The ability to apply contemporary theory and practice of interprofessional stroke care at all stages of the patient journey

  • Learning experiences in applying guidelines and knowledge to find culturally safe and practical responses to real-life challenges faced by people with stroke and their whānau

  • An understanding of the factors underlying inequities in patient experience and outcomes of stroke care
