National clinical leadership for health professionals
Expressions of interest for the new Stroke National Clinical Network are currently open.
These terms of reference will be finalised after the membership is confirmed.
The EOI closes on 18 January. There will also be an opportunity to be part of the Network sub-groups and EOIs for those will be sought at a later late.
Hawke’s Bay based occupational therapist, Tracy Murphy, and Whangārei based stroke specialist, Alan Davis, were announced as the co-leads for this Network in October 2023. You can read their bio’s here.

The F.A.S.T. campaign encourages everyone to learn the key signs of stroke and to think F.A.S.T., act fast and look out for each other by calling 111 if they suspect a stroke. Prompt action can save lives - as well as improve recovery.
